Good Afternoon Cambridge College Students,

We are happy to announce that we have a new Health Insurance carrier starting this Fall.  We are happy to be partnering with University Health Plan to provide our students with the health plan and excellent customer service. 

All Undergraduate students taking at least 9 credits and Graduate students taking 6 credits are required to have health insurance while attending Cambridge College. Student mandated to have insurance, are automatically enrolled in and billed for the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) effective January 1st, 2022 through August 31, 2022. All International Students will be automatically enrolled into the School's Health Insurance Program regardless of credits unless they can provide a Massachusetts comparable Health Plan. 

Students with comparable coverage may request to opt out of the plan by submitting a waiver form by January 31st, 2022.

Important Updates about the 2021-2022 SHIP

· The student insurance company will move from National Guardian Life/Commercial Travelers to Wellfleet Insurance. The plan design is based on the 2021-2022 policy. All students enrolled in the plan will need to download a new Insurance ID card to access benefits effective 1/1/2022

· Cambridge College partnered with University Health Plans to manage the student health insurance plan. You can view information about the plan at www.universityhealthplans.com/CambridgeCollege.

Students who wish to opt out of the student health insurance plan must document that they have comparable coverage by submitting a waiver form each academic year. Click HERE to submit a waiver form by January 31st, 2022.

Students enrolled in the plan can enroll their eligible dependents by completing the enrollment form  by January 31st, 2022.
